Meet our Fantastic Nursery Management Team
Hello my name is Ruby, and I hold a level 3 qualification in Children’s play, learning and development. I have over 10 years experience working in day nurseries, within all age groups and in a managerial role. I joined the Heatons Group in 2020 as I share Marie’s ethos of providing the best care and environment for children. I love enhancing our provision to ensure the children have access to a range of materials, resources and experiences, enabling them to grow in personality and knowledge. I have a true passion for child development and you will find me researching ways to make our children and staff’s experience at The Heatons better. I am a qualified Mental Health first aider and use this to nurture and support our children and staff, creating a calm and welcoming environment.
Hello my name is Becky and I hold a Level 3 qualification in Early Years Child Development. I have over 10 years experience within nurseries, having trained as an apprentice in a nursery in Sheffield, before moving over to Manchester. I started working at the Heatons in 2021 in the Moor Room and have particularly found my feet working with the under 2’s, with extensive baby experience. I progressed to the room lead within 6 months of working at the Heatons and now have recently been appointed as the Deputy Manager. I have a real passion for providing high quality childcare and building strong relationships with the families that join us. I have recently taken a Communication and Language course for under 2’s and am keen to help children build on their early communication skills and confidence. Outside of work I enjoy socialising with my friends and travelling in my campervan.
Hello my name is Katie, I am level 6 qualified Early Years Teacher. I began my career in childcare in 2012, having a passion for children’s learning and development. I have worked with children of all ages between 0-5 before finding my niche with preschool aged children. I value and understand the early important steps to education and feel extremely passionate about good quality childcare. I am the Heatons behaviour specialist and SENCO and have a keen interest in children’s personal and social development, promoting independence, self regulation and modelling the social skills needed to support children in later life. I have found my fit with The Heatons and love being part of the team.
